I first came to New Dorp fitness around 2 years ago. I was never able to keep a steady schedule in the gym. I always felt uncomfortable or judged so I would kind’ve just give up. On the very first day that I started training here, I have been showed nothing but respect, great hospitality and last but not least, a great friendship with Phil. Phil is the owner and personal trainer of Newdorp Fitness. Although I have never done personal training with Phil, I have watched him train many of his clients. He changes their lives. After some time with them their entire persona seems to change. They look better, feel better and most importantly, have more confidence in their bodies. Phil is never slow to help any member of his gym, regardless if he trains them himself. If I had a dollar for every time he has corrected my form, gave me ideas on supplements that he recommends, or even some small dietary tips that have helped me on my weight training journey, I’d own my own gym. If you are struggling to find a gym or a personal trainer, i would strongly encourage you to come and give Phil here at New Dorp fitness a chance. He will change your life in ways you didn’t even know were possible.

I write this review for ANYONE who is considering personal training. I strongly encourage you to invest in yourself to be your best self. I reached out to Coach Phil and I feel and look better now than 20 years ago (or more)! In three short months my stamina has increased, I’m more focused, more confident and eating better. And the best part, I LOVE IT!
Coach Phil’s energy and passion is contagious. When you’re training with him he pushes you but always puts your safety first. He encourages you to go the next step, even when you’re not sure of yourself he gives you the confidence and security that he has your back. He takes great pride in his work - YOU! He’s knowledgeable at the highest level of fitness, nutrition and all around mental attitude. His gym is spotless! The people that I have met there are respectful, pleasant and have a special understanding that we all there for the same reason, to be part of the Coach Phil training family. I really believe this is the best thing I’ve done for myself and my family as I bring home so much of what I’m learning from Coach Phil. You will absolutely feel that he cares and wants you to be the best you. Go for it! You’ll be glad you did. 😄

Master Coach Phil has been training me since I was around 15 years old. He has that old school knowledge from his bodybuilding career you simply cannot find anywhere else. New Dorp Fitness has changed my life. If you are in it to win it, this is the gym for you. This gym has so much more to offer than your typical overcrowded chain gyms you find everywhere else. If you want the right environment enabling you to excel and connect with the right people, this is the gym for you. Very motivating and would highly recommend. 10/10!!!

I started training with Coach Phil at New Dorp Fitness 2 months ago and have seen significant results in a short time.
