I moved to Florida just a few days prior to the Hurricane Helene. Dave Doherty was not only my real estate agent who helped me by my perfect house in a perfect town, he also helped me enormously with the trials and tribulations of navigating a hurricane on day two of my arrival!
While most agents would simply pass you the keys on the day of closing, Dave got me help with moving everything in to the house fast, and setting me up for battening down the hatches.
He stayed in touch, with updates on the storm bc I had no internet and checked in on me throughout the category 4 landfall off Helene.
