Two and a half years ago I was referred to Jolie and her kids program, by my son’s assistant principal. At the time, my son was in 5th grade and was going through a challenging time. His school administrators were pushing him into therapy and alluding that he should go to a doctor for his meltdowns at school. In my gut, I knew there had to be a better way to help him. In stepped Jolie. We arranged a single private session for Ben and I kid you not, in that one session, she was able to help him express himself and redirect his energy. He continued with the twice weekly, kids group classes and he never had another meltdown at school again. He is now in 7th grade and a thriving, straight A student.
