Coming to terms with the consequences of neglecting my physical wellness during the pandemic became all too real once the talk of lifting restrictions began circulating. Panic quickly mounted as I realized that going back into society was happening a lot sooner than later. Thankfully, my chiropractor referred me to Karin @ Joyful Mind & Body who has been ever so helpful to me on my healing journey. Karin is so knowledgeable, inclusive, encouraging, fun, and so great about working with my schedule.
Being overweight and suffering from back problems, I was very hesitant about trying Pilates but after learning more about how Pilates works with all types of bodies, I finally decided to try and I absolutely love it!
The class I’m in is catered to all levels, and Karin really takes the time to explain the movements, their purpose, and she also provides modifications for movements that may be too challenging. Overall, I am just so happy that I found such an awesome place that has welcomed me and given me the boost I needed to make positive changes in my life.

Karin’s approach towards nutrition, exercise and coaching is understandable, intelligent and highly effective but is delivered in a friendly, objective manner. She provides wonderful food alternatives and access to information allowing you to become educated about what you are putting into your body and how with a little fine-tuning your overall health and sense of wellness may increase dramatically. Karin is very good at listening to what is going on below the surface layers. She is extremely talented at what she does and has gone to great lengths to educate herself in various modalities (nutrition, coaching, CBD, pilates, massage) to help others live a healthier and more joyful life.
