I attended a series of coaching sessions with Nisha. She created a safe space to explore what was holding me back in my writing. She comes from a place where she makes no assumptions about who you are or what you want, which can be incredibly refreshing and sometimes necessary. She can identify critical points when I rambled and helped me untangle and shed light on the fears and anxieties (as a racialised person growing up in the U.K.) that were holding me back from pursuing writing. She exhibits all the excellent qualities that make a great coach. I have also witnessed her taking feedback with grace and compassion.
