I had the good fortune of stumbling upon a post about LEAD, a virtual conference she was organizing. Since I work from home, I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't an in-person event as I would have enjoyed the opportunity to connect in person, but thought it might still be worthwhile. I'm so glad I took the chance, as she did an incredible job cultivating a virtual environment that felt inclusive, supportive and warm! Sharing her own story throughout the day amongst the wonderful collection of speakers she brought together was so lovely!
