I spent all 4 years at North High and graduated in 1975. Those 4 years were my best school years. Everyone was friendly to each other even if you weren't "Best Friends" The faculty were wonderful and our Principal, Mr. Horace Jackson at the time was a great leader to which I attribute creating and maintaining a friendly environment among the student body. There is a special kindred "Husky" spirit that has touched everyone who went to North High as we are now reconnecting through Social Media many years after our experience at North High. My motto from my experience at North High is "Once a Husky, Always a Husky"

If you are going to join any AP classes, you will work. its a decent school but it depends on how you make it. if you do your work, participate in clubs, football games, and hang out with the "good people" North is a very good school. If you don't do your work and join gangs north will be a bad school. It depends on how you make it and how you choose your desitions.
