We started ordering epoxy from PTM&W a few months back because of fairly substantial lead time issues with our last supplier. We have tested a lot of epoxies over the last 5 years or so, and these guys come out on top for a number of reasons. The epoxy they make is nice to work with, has great performance, short lead times, reasonable prices (the quality/cost ratio is high). The customer service has been really great and reasonably prompt.

Their listed specs for epoxy products look great, but after two orders I have trouble believing any of those numbers. Their quality control is terrible. The first order I received was short on hardener. I questioned myself until I weighed two containers. Reported the problem, which it turns out they messed up an entire lot. They replaced what they decided I was missing and no more. I'm still short on hardener. The next order from ptm&w of MVS epoxy was only a gallon because I needed just enough to finish a project already coated with their product. The hardener was contaminated with something that made the epoxy bright red instead of amber and ate away the foam rollers I have used with several brands of epoxy. There are now chunks of foam imbedded in my laminate that will need to be sanded out and refinished.

As far as the customer service goes, if you're anything like me it will take them at least a week to get back to you.

Beware of this company.
