So glad I finally got the courage to do the Y Be Fit program. My student counselor was so helpful, encouraging, and knowledgeable in helping me figure out what goals were right for me. She was supportive of all my choices so that we were able to develop a healthy plan that fits my circumstances. I had some real 'ah-ha' moments during my sessions and saw improvement in my weight and especially in my blood work that has really motivated me! I went from someone who hadn't exercised regularly or consistently in over 10 years to someone who makes sure I move my body in some way every day. I can't recommend this program enough.

I was looking for some sort of affordable health coaching and found this program. I wanted to get in control of my health, and though I had a fairly good understanding of fitness, there were a lot of blanks in my knowledge. The Y Be fit program is tailored to each individual’s needs, so I chose my goals and the topics addressed each meeting. The program helped me to reach my fitness goals, have a realistic but challenging approach to my health, and gave me the motivation I needed through encouragement by my health coach, accurate information, and hard data to work from. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this program! I learned so much about nutrition and health in general, as well as training information, which was a goal of mine. My health coach, Kayla, was excellent! She is incredibly knowledgeable yet she can explain things in such a simple way. She helped me stay motivated and I was always excited for our visits. 10/10 recommend this program! Also the body composition information you receive is super helpful!

I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect, but I had an awesome experience with the Y-Be-Fit program. The student counselors were top notch and the beauty of the program is that you come up with your own goals. I knew what I wanted and needed to do that was a good fit for my life and adding the accountability of reporting regularly to a counselor was a huge help to keep me motivated.
I wasn't super thrilled at first about the idea of discussing different health topics at each meeting, but my student counselor was incredibly knowledgeable and prepared each time and I can honestly say I came away learning at least one new thing every time that was a genuine help.
I also wasn't thrilled to see the bodpod results to know just what percent of body fat I had, but it was a cool learning experience and actually very rewarding to see the end results compared to the beginning. I highly recommend it!

Excellent program, my 4th time doing it (I need some reminders every 3 or 4 years). I like that once you define your goals they help you with ideas, strategies, and follow-ups, but they focus on your becoming more accountable. This way, one can achieve sustainable results.

I lost 22 lbs with the help of my awesome health coach Christina. She taught me how to eat right and exercise to build muscle. I feel so much more energy and I feel fit again. After years of trying to lose weight on my own, she gave me the knowledge I needed. Thank you Y Be Fit!

Such a great wellness resource here at the Y! It was awesome have someone help me achieve my fitness / diet goals. Doing the bod-pod and fitness testing was very insightful and really motivated me to progress in needed areas.
